Omada BE5000 Ceiling Mount Dual-Band Wi-Fi 7 Access Point with 1x2.5G port, EAP723

I bought the BE5000 to replace a lesser model which only ran at 100MB. When it arrived, I took down the old model, only to discover that the ceiling adapter needed to be replaced. Since a new adapter was included, that was easily accomplished in a couple of minutes. Once installed, it booted up and, after connecting it with my network at the higher speed, watched it update itself and establish itself as an integral part of the network. I then went through all settings, matching them to my system — a 15 minute exercise. Since then I have enjoyed the faster wireless connection with no hiccups or problems. Omada just works!

So far so good. Very easy to set up. Doing its job so far. But it’s only been a week.

While the EAP is not as Powerful as the EAP772 it can be integrated into a network with a lot of functionality.

Nice size, much smaller than the 620HD that it replaced. Easy to set up via the Omada app, assuming that you have an Omada controller. Range seems a bit shorter than expected, but I’ve only been testing for a couple of days.
