Before uploading, make sure your certificate meets the documentation requirements below. Include any signatures required by the document, and ensure the shipping address matches the one listed on the certificate. We’ll notify you when the review is complete.

Accepted Tax Exemption Documents

Please upload one of the following completed and signed documents:

  • State Resale Certificate (Reseller Certificate)
  • State Sales Tax Exemption Certificate
  • Multistate Uniform Sales & Use Tax Certificate (where accepted by the destination state)
  • Other state issued tax exemption documentation that qualifies your purchase for exemption

Important Notes

  1. A Business License is not accepted as proof of sales tax exemption.
  2. An EIN, Articles of Incorporation, or Business Registration are not accepted by themselves.
  3. The shipping address for tax exempt orders must match the address listed on the submitted certificate.
  4. Additional documentation may be requested during the review process.

AlaskaAK UniformAlaska does not impose a statewide sales tax and therefore does not have any statewide sales tax exemptions. Cities and boroughs are authorized to levy a sales and use tax on sales, rents, or services made within the boroughs or city. Local exemptions may be granted by ordinance.
AlabamaAL UniformAlabama retailers with a sales tax license who make exempt purchases are not required to provide a certificate of resale or exemption. Use State issued "Sales Tax License".
