I purchased this switch to upgrade my existing managed switch which was 1 gigabit without PoE. I'm very happy with this switch, because it allows me to connect up to 8 PoE devices directly without any injection devices like I was doing previously. Also, the 2.5 gigabit ethernet allows greater bandwidth that supports modern network solutions such as WiFi 7. Also, the management UI and tutorials for setting up this switch is very helpful. I am very satisfied with my purchase an would strongly recommend this Omada switch.

The PoE injector does what it's expected to do. It's able to power EAP787 AP's and max out a 2.5G connection. I haven't tried a 10G connection yet, or a long run. My cables are less than 10M currently.

I replaced some Unifi U7 Pro APs with EAP787 APs. I plan to reuse the U7 Pro's at another site which is used less often. These new APs have similar range and speeds at a distance, but when close to the APs the speed is better. I only have 2.5G ports available near the APs, but I like having the option to upgrade to 10G in the future by swapping the switch if the Internet speeds increase in the future. I'm able to achieve full 2.5G connection speeds currently and could likely go higher with a 10G connection and MLO in the future.

Great product, very well built, adopted right into my home setup with the rest of my omada devices.

Was struggling with my Unifi U7 Pro XGS units when it came to client compatibility, range, penetration, and interference management. All of those were fixed, out of the box, with the UAP787. Even though I lost some UI polish, the UAP787 shines where it matters for less money.

I used this too replace an older wireless AC LR device, not only does this have the same approximate ramge, but has a stronger signal so the download speeds have improved, the upload speeds were roughly the same as the device sending is still the same power to transmit, probably would be a bit better with higher gain antennas for thise devices out on the edge of its ramge.

I have 3 SG2210MP on my home network. They drive my 9 ReoLink cameras and 3 EAP650 access points. In the past I was using cheap POE switches which did not provide the power needed to drive the cameras and APs properly. These switches do have fans but I never hear them running except at startup. One switch has 4 POE cameras and 1 AP and draws about 21.7W, 3% CPU, 54% memory. Highly recommend these POE switches.

This switch is my core network switch. I'm currently using 10 of the ports. All 9 of my video cameras run through this switch to the NVR. Additionally all 3 WiFi access points run through this switch. It has a steady load of about 65MBps, 24x7. So far it has been great, running about 2% cpu, 55% memory. If I were to ask for 1 thing, it would be to make 1 port be POE so I could plug in my OC220 controller directly into the switch.

The ultra range wireless bridge made it easy to extend my my mesh network to an out building. Happy with the quality and speeds.

The mounting poles included hardware to install either on a pole or flat surface. (Wood). The bubble level helped in installing poles vertical

Love it so far! It was very easy to install. Plugged it in to and my oc220 detected it and adopted it right away. I used it to replace a old 1gb unmanaged switch. Thank you tplink!
