Omada AX3000 Ceiling Mount Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6 Access Point, EAP653

After months of research I decided to go with this solution. I only needed it to provide full coverage of a single story house.
The only challenge I faced was to figure out the initial configuration, being a commercial product I totally understand that no intuitive or wizard can be expected, no complaints at all.
I went to Claud AI to find out the simplest and fastest way to do it, and go it up and running in a few minutes.
Two weeks down the road and I love it!
It was literally set it and forget it.

I'm moving to a larger house so I need ed a multiple access point set up. As such, these fit the bill nicely. However, I did notice a pretty significant drop in available signal levels compared to my old router. Even on 2.4g, I to drop down one bar, which translates to around 5 to 10 DB as compared to the previous one. This is at the full power setting of 25 DB. Doesn't look quite as pretty, but it's still delivering what I need and self-hosting the controller means I get a very convenient location to manage all of them at once, while not dealing with leaking my information to third parties.

Tested it with the Omada controller. For the price I feel this device is superior to the Unifi AP's.I have had a few TPLink AX1750 and AX3000's and they just work perfectly.Unifi is pretty good too, but for the price I feel their AP's aren't as powerful.

A little bulky looking but does the job nicely

I'll sum this up by saying that this EAP653 now gives me wi-fi that is as fast as an ethernet connection. That is huge!For years, I have struggled with slow wi-fi. When I saw this device, I thought I'd give it a try. I now use a NON-wifi router, along with this EAP653. I have good, solid coverage everywhere in my home, and the same high speeds that I receive from my internet provider. Good Job TP-Link!
