Omada Multi-Gigabit VPN Router, 2x 2.5G WAN/LAN Ports, ER7412-M2

Very impressive. I replaced a CISCO RV325 with the ER7412-M2.
Setup was very easy.
I would easily reccommend this unit.

This router is a piece of garbage. It seems to want to force you to use there cloud admin service or setup some local alternative. I can't find any way to enable SSH or allow serial port admin. I feel like I have been cheated and may have to just throw it away and consider it a lesson learned.

Almost completely plug and play

The gateway arrived with deep scratches in the paint. After contacting support /sales they told me they would give me a 10% discount on my next purchase. Which I'v already received a 10% discount for multiple purchases. Not really happy about the unit looking used and scratched up straight from the Omada Store. Returning it would be a hassle and take weeks. The good part it's way faster than my 7206.

Very flexible device with great support. The ER7412-M2 has been rock-solid in daily use and offers way more features than most routers in its price range. Setup through the Omada app was simple, and switching between load balance and failover modes worked exactly as expected.

The router handles multiple internet connections smoothly, keeps speeds high, and stays completely silent thanks to its fanless design. Firmware updates are frequent, and TP-Link’s support and online documentation are excellent.

If you need a reliable, flexible router for home or small business that “just works,” this one’s a winner.
