I've got over 50 of these actively servicing clients. I used to bounce between the ER605 and this one depending on the use case, but now this is my go-to router for all of my client deployments. They are rock solid, and now that they're rack mountable, it's a no-brainer.
I would *absolutely* recommend this router for anyone looking for a better routing platform for their network. It's fast, it's easy to configure, and with the latest Omada software updates, they've made this thing a BREEZE to configure and update.
I've been deploying these since 2022 and they've only gotten better with time, and I can't say the same for other brands that focus on visual appeal over functionality and performance.
I had a ER605 at home for the last year, but noticed that when streaming from multiple devices, the ER605 was becoming unstable, with freezes. Worse, is that I could not get into the admin console when this happened. When I swapped out the ER605 for the ER7206 I immediately saw the internet speed test yield much greater thruput (almost double) and the streaming freezes have all disappeared.... I wish I could get my money back on the 605.
Purchased to replace a near 10yr old Unify router. Pretty much does all the same specs as my outgoing router, The SDN is nice and makes simple implementation of pretty much everything.......the cpu power is weak.
