had a few other name brands in place but while setting up VLANs the way they implement their web UI settings/options were extremely difficult to setup correctly. Specifically the implementation of the 802.1Q VLAN standard. This product supports the standards that a managed switch should have. there are some limitations between their web UI standalone and cloud modes but you should be familiar with them before purchase. Definitely was a good fit for my home lab. Excellent buy and would recommend for anyone's home lab.

The product is fairly easy to set up. The Web interface is somewhat intuitive. And I was able to get going rather quickly. The one thing I wish it would do better is if you change a configuration, the save button at the top is not quite obvious.
