Product works well. Over about a quarter mile I can get 300 to 400mbs. It did take some tweaking, but the connection is reliable and consistent.
Not really sure how it worked yet. Sounds like I have to get a computer guy to help set it up. Needs to be better instructions not everybody is a computer engineer.
It works exactly as advertised and is extremely easy to set up.
Wow this thing is powerful. We didn't test out the .6 of a mile but it did allow us to get internet inside a metal building about 300 ft away, which made everyone thrilled as the work we were doing had us in there 24/7 for two weeks. Set up was easy, just make sure you start close to your source point before moving away. The signal was strong and allowed us to have the full coverage the receiving router provided.
I have an out building on my property that's roughly 40 ft from the house. This building has metal faced insulation, so wireless signals don't penetrate well. I was using (unsuccessfully) a mesh wifi system to try to get internet in there, but it would only get from 5-50Mb/s speeds (this gave difficulty when trying to be on video calls). I just installed this (EAP-211) to connect the mesh base in the building to the house network and now can see speeds of 480-640MB/s testing with iperf3 to a server in the house. It's not as fast as the gigabit ethernet in the house, but FAR better than what was in place. I've only had it installed about 30 minutes, so I'll update later after more time with the system, but so far I'm VERY happy with this.
